Moving to the Big Apple in 2013 was a daunting proposition: I left my artistic home in DC and was pregnant at the same time – but these changes in my life have been tremendously exciting. New York has treated me well so far! I shot Episodes 2 through 6 of new web series People you Know as a series regular (a sensible, Ivy-educated lesbian chef), had a blast at the Upright Citizens Brigade learning long-form improv, trained with Bob Krakower, signed with manager Annette E. Alvarez of Multi-Ethnic Talent and began freelancing with Abrams Artists Agency for commercials!

I have a few things up my sleeve in the new year, including shooting a new comedy web series that I am writing with my partner-in-crime Mary Werntz and continuing training at UCB (301 is next). And, I just booked the LEAD in a Columbia MFA short film, shooting this month entirely in Urdu.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone for their support, and best wishes to all. Happy New Year!
